James River Equipment, which has Deere dealerships in Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina, has acquired Harvest Equipment Company in Lewisburg, W. Va. This is James River’s first location in West Virginia and its 29th agriculture-and-turf location.

A Kubota dealership is being added to Floyd’s Truck Center in Fort Pierre, S.D. Management for the truck center said it will use current space and expand the existing truck shop to sell equipment for medium-duty agriculture and construction. The expansion was scheduled to open this month. Floyd’s Truck Center also operates a Kubota dealership in Belgrade, Mont. It has nine heavy truck dealerships in Nebraska, Wyoming, South Dakota and Montana.

Deere dealer Cervus Equipment has signed an agreement for the acquisition of the Deere dealership owned by J.B. Scott Pty Ltd. J.B. Scott currently operates its Deere dealership in North Geelong, Victoria, Australia. This will be Cervus Equipment’s seventh location in Australia. Cervus Equipment plans to relocate the dealership to Colac, Victoria.

Case IH dealer Torgerson’s has acquired Zerbe Brothers, Inc., in Glasgow, Mont. Zerbe was a single-store, full line New Holland dealership. It becomes Torgerson’s 10th store, all of which are in Montana.

Mazergroup, based in Brandon, Manitoba, has acquired three New Holland equipment store locations in Saskatchewan. The dealership now operates 19 locations, with 14 in Manitoba and five in Saskatchewan. The new locations include Yorkton New Holland, Raymore New Holland and Watrous New Holland.
