Dealer News: Acquisitions, Expansion

WCTractor, a Kubota dealership group serving Central Texas and the Brazos Valley region of Texas, has purchased the assets of W.A. Virnau and Sons, commonly known as Virnau Sealy Tractor. With the acquisition, WCTractor adds a sixth Kubota location to its group.

The WCTractor service area now includes three locations in Brenham, as well as locations in Navasota, Bryan, Temple, Waco, Dayton and a second location in Sealy.

Van Wall Equipment of Perry, Iowa, has purchased Brakke Implement in a deal that will extend the dealership’s products and services to north-central Iowa farmers in the Mason City, Clear Lake, Garner, Forest City and Britt areas.

If John Deere approves the sale, Brakke Implement in Mason City will begin operating as Van Wall Equipment Sept. 1.

Florida Coast Equipment, the biggest Kubota dealer in Florida, soon will break ground on a new facility to serve Miami-Dade and Homestead counties. It expects to be operating from a temporary dealership by the end of the year.

The move comes weeks after Florida Coast Equipment announced an expansion into Land O’Lakes and Plant City with the purchase of two Gulf Coast Turf and Tractor dealerships.

Florida Coast Equipment is a family-owned and operated Kubota dealership with seven Florida locations: West Palm Beach, Fort Pierce, Mims, Naples, Plant City, Land O’Lakes and Homestead.
