2016 Standards CD Available to Members

The Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association continues to support the efforts of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) standards program.

Over the past decade, our Association has provided copies of the standards to our regular members at no cost on CD-ROM. (The 2016 CD is a $549 value for those who are not members of ASABE.)

Our Board of Directors has decided to again offer this standards information on CD to regular members who do not have access via ASABE membership. We will send one copy per company while supplies last.

It is worth noting that 15 new standards and 29 revisions have been published since the Association shared the 2014 standards CD. In addition, 12 previously published standards have been withdrawn.

The Association will send emails to the primary contacts at regular member companies this week about how to take advantage of this valuable member benefit.

Conformance to ASABE standards is voluntary, except where required by state, province, or other governmental requirements. While we do not support or oppose any standard, we encourage member involvement.
