AEM Promotes Yaksich

We are pleased to learn this week that AEM has promoted Nick Yaksich, Vice President, Government & Industry Relations, to Senior Vice President, Head of AEM’s Washington, D.C. office.

In recent years, Yaksich has reached out to our Association to issues where our positions have common ground and to find opportunities to cooperate in shaping public policy both at the national and state levels.

Vernon Schmidt, our Association’s Executive President, said much of the industry’s recent success in opposing some of the most onerous restrictions on farm equipment on public roads in Wisconsin was due to Yaksich’s efforts to bring together many of the groups affected.

“We look forward to building on our joint efforts regarding the use of public roadway issues in various states,” Schmidt said, “and congratulate Yaksich on his new position with AEM.”  S
