AgJunction Names Lead for Intellectual Property

Bob Barjesteh has been named AgJunction’s first Vice President, Intellectual Property (IP) and General Counsel (U.S.)

Barjesteh was most recently the Managing Director-Chief Legal Officer at ClaroVia Technologies LLC, an intellectual property and corporate transaction advisory firm. At ClaroVia, Barjesteh advised Novariant, which was acquired by AgJunction in October 2015.

In his new role, Barjesteh will serve as inside legal counsel related to IP management and will direct extensive outside legal and IP teams.

Over the past 20 years, Barjesteh also held executive positions at 3M Company and Arthur Andersen. He has extensive experience identifying and evaluating business opportunities for technology licensing, strategic alliances and other complex corporate transactions.
