Art’s Way Announces Q3 Results

Art’s Way Manufacturing released its third quarter results.

Sales for the quarter were $6.43 million and $17.44 million for the nine months ending August 31. Compared to the same periods last year, Art’s Way reported a 1.3 percent decrease for the quarter and a 15.4 percent decrease year-to-date.

The year-to-date decrease in revenue was primarily due to the decreased demand for agricultural products. It was offset by a 43.5 percent increase in revenue in the company’s modular buildings segment.

Marc McConnell, chairman of the Art’s Way Board of Directors, said that while headwinds persist in the agriculture sector, the company sees signs the market is stabilizing.
