ASABE Honors Kondex Engineer

Kondex Senior Application Engineer Andy Theisen has been recognized by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers for outstanding leadership as conference chair over its 2018 Agricultural Equipment and Technology Conference (AETC).

Theisen joined ASABE in 2012 and has attended the annual meeting and AETC conference every year since. While he has served on the AETC committee for the past six years, this was his first year as chair. In this role, he oversaw all conference planning and meetings, as well as efforts to enhance and elevate the event for future years.

“It was a pleasure and privilege to serve as AETC chair this past year. Our team did a phenomenal job to ensure the conference was a success,” Theisen said. “With the world population continuing to grow and our natural resources becoming more strained, the work ASABE members perform is critical to our future. Events like AETC provide a forum for the type of open discussion that is required to drive new technology forward—something that is imperative in my role at Kondex.”
