Beef Export Opportunities Expand

The U.S. government has reached an agreement with the government of Peru to remove barriers for U.S. beef exports to Peru.

The agreement opens one of the fastest-growing markets in Latin America to American beef producers.

The export of U.S. beef products has been complicated since 2003 by burdensome certification requirements. This agreement removes those barriers.

In 2015, the United States exported $25.4 million in beef to Peru. This development assures American ranchers expansion in that market.  S
