Danuser Hosts Ribbon Cutting on Expanded Facility

Danuser hosted an open house earlier this month to inaugurate the recent expansion of its Fulton, MO, facility and demonstrate to the public its latest attachment products. These include the Hammer, a one-person post driver; a T3 post driver; an EP auger; and a multi-purpose grapple.

Danuser will initiate sales of its multi-purpose grapple in a couple of months, said Glenn Danuser, a company vice president. The multi-purpose grapple is essentially a fork lift with an upper mouth piece that allows the equipment to move boulders, logs and other large items. The mouth piece can be unpinned, tucked up and stored so the grapple can also be used solely as a fork lift.

The Hammer was featured this year on The Science Channel’s TV show, “How It’s Made,” and the episode was screened for guests as part of the festivities. The Hammer’s success is one reason Danuser expanded into its 32,000-square foot facility, increasing the total warehouse square footage more than 100,000.

The company is currently in phase one of a three-phase plan. Phase two will bring another expansion in the next 2-4 years.

The 104-year-old company currently employs 74 full-time and two part-time workers, and it expects to increase those numbers, said Janea Danuser, also a company vice president.
