Members of the Ohio-Michigan Equipment Dealers Association (OMEDA) and Mid-America Equipment Retailers Association (MAERA) completed their merger January 1.

The newly formed association is the United Equipment Dealers Association (UEDA). It represents 747 members in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. Twelve board members will oversee this transition and the new association.

After nearly 90 years in Dutzow, Mo., the tractor company Schweissguth Brothers Inc. has been sold to Sydenstricker Implement.

The Schweissguth brothers will still operate the Kubota dealership in Union. Two of the brothers will remain employees of Sydenstricker Implement, a Deere dealership.
