Georgia-based Ag-Pro has acquired five Deere dealerships in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. The dealerships previously operated under the name Neuhaus & Co., which was in operation for more than 40 years. Earlier this fall, Ag-Pro acquired Fredericksburg Equipment, a dealership in the Texas Hill Country of Fredericksburg, Texas. These acquisitions bring Ag-Pro’s store count to 55 locations across Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Texas.

Cervus Equipment, Canada's largest Deere dealer group, posted third quarter 2017 consolidated revenue gains of 10 percent. The numbers reflect a third quarter (ended September 30) comparison to 2016. A report from the company said equipment sales in its agriculture segment achieved a record in the third quarter. Total ag equipment revenue increased by 12 percent in the quarter, and new equipment sales increased by 34 percent. A drop of 14 percent in used equipment sales blunted some of the overall improvement.
