Elsewhere in the survey, a net 19 percent of dealers reported their backlog of used equipment inventory was “too high,” which is an improvement compared to 24 percent in the previous month’s survey.
New equipment inventory levels improved with a net 16 percent of dealers reporting inventories “too high.” In the previous survey, 23 percent reported inventories were “too high.”
Used equipment pricing declined somewhat. Large tractor pricing was reported down 2 percent year-over-year vs. down 1 percent the previous month.
