Dexter Buys Titan Brake and Actuator

Dexter, a manufacturer of trailer axles, brakes, and hubs and drums for more than 50 years, announced last week it has acquired the assets of Titan International’s brake and actuator business.

Titan has a rich heritage in the hydraulic brake and actuator industry and manufactures an extensive line of brakes, actuators, couplers and hubs designed to serve a variety of trailer applications.

Dexter products are made in automated facilities in Indiana, Georgia, Oklahoma, California and Tennessee with distribution throughout North America and several other countries.

Titan International manufactures brakes and actuators in Union City, Tennessee supported by an office in Des Moines, Iowa.
