EMDA Elects New Leadership

Jennifer Edney, vice president of Edney Distributing Co., Inc., in Lakeville, Minnesota, has been elected to a one-year term as president of the Equipment Marketing & Distribution Association.

Edney joined Edney Distributing Company in 2008 to support the company during a time of transition. Prior to working in the family business, she held sales, operations, and management roles at companies including Gateway, Target, and The Hartford.

She was elected during the association’s meeting in Minneapolis, which coincides each year with this Association’s fall convention. Also elected during the convention were Steve Prouty, McNeil Marketing Co., first vice president; Kent Zimmerman, John Day Company, second vice president; Jerry Nettles, Short Line Sales, treasurer and immediate past president; Mark Tibbitts, General Implement Distributors, secretary; Trey Price, Price Bros. Equipment Co., director; and Ryan Skibo, Pequea Machine, Inc., associate member delegate.
