Employers Step Up Vaccine Push
While few employers have required employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19, many are approaching the question more assertively, asking workers to report their vaccination status or implementing policies that restrict activities of unvaccinated workers.
Guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is emboldening them to step up the pressure. The EEOC said U.S. employers can require all workers entering a workplace to be vaccinated against COVID-19, though they need to provide reasonable accommodations for those who are unvaccinated because of a disability or religious belief.
