It’s time. We’re inside the four-week mark now, which means if you haven’t yet, it’s time to think about booking your flight to Houston and planning how you’ll spend your time at the 2017 Marketing & Distribution Convention. We’re here to help you prepare.
Getting There The Hyatt Regency Houston is about equal distance between George Bush Intercontinental Airport and William P. Hobby Airport. If you prefer a smaller airport, or if you fly Southwest, check out flights to Hobby first. Bush offers more airlines, hence more options.
As of Monday, you could find flights for around $250 or less from most Midwest airports.
Scheduling Meetings We’ve seen a flurry of registrations among wholesalers and independent reps. It’s a good idea to take another look at this Association’s registration list (Meeting.FarmEquip.org) as well as registrants from the Equipment Marketing & Distribution Association.
Schedule appointments with other attendees in advance.
Room Rates If you look at room rates at the Hyatt Regency Houston, you’ll see $315. That’s not our rate. The Association has reserved a block of rooms at $189, but we encourage you to act very quickly to secure that rate.
Exploring Houston The Houston Rockets host the Cleveland Cavaliers on the Thursday we’re in town. Game time is 7 p.m. at Toyota Center, which is close to the hotel. Learn more at FarmEquip.org/NBA.
