In Memoriam: Arline Broyhill

The Association recently lost a good friend and charter member.

Arline W. Broyhill, who founded Broyhill Company with husband Roy, died on April 18 in South Sioux City, Neb. She was 96.

She and Roy, who preceded her in death, founded their company in 1946. Six years later, they became charter members of this Association. Roy served on the Association’s Board of Directors for many years and was president in 1971-1972.

Broyhill Co. remains a family business. Craig Broyhill, Roy and Arline’s son, is president and chairman.

Beyond business, Roy and Arline were active in county and state political organizations throughout their lives.
