In Memoriam: Art Burrows

Kirby Manufacturing—and members of this Association—recently lost a colleague and friend. Art Burrows, who worked for Kirby Manufacturing for decades, died at his home on April 24. He was 66.

Burrows was vice president of international sales for Kirby Manufacturing. It was the most recent position in a series of ever-expanding roles for the company.

Before Burrows joined the company, he spent time in the early 1970s serving in the U.S. Army. He received the National Defense Service Medal and a Sharpshooter Badge for his service.

Among his interests were music and caring for his land in Mariposa, Calif.

His life was celebrated at an event in his memory May 7.
