Kubota Moves to Texas

Kubota Tractor Corp. and Kubota Credit Corp. will move out of their corporate headquarters in Torrance, CA, and into new space in Grapevine, TX, near Dallas.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) announced the relocation. He said it will create about 345 jobs and generate $51 million in capital investment. Kubota already has a facility in nearby Fort Worth with about 100 workers.

Construction on Kubota’s new space should be complete by early 2017. The Texas Enterprise Fund offered the farm equipment manufacturer a $3.8 million grant to move to a more central part of the U.S.

Kubota also announced this week it will build a 502,000-square-foot manufacturing plant and expand existing operations in Gainesville, GA. S
