Kobuta recently reported its year-end results. Net sales for the year improved by 1.4 percent compared to 2018.
In the farm and industrial machinery segment, revenue increased by 2.9 percent compared to 2018. Domestic revenues for the company increased by 3.8 percent because sales of farm equipment and engines improved.
Overseas sales for Kubota increased by 2.7 percent in the farm and industrial segment. The company reported a “significant” increase in sales in tractors and construction in North America. The company attributed the improvement to a solid construction market, realization of shipments that had been delayed by the typhoon in Japan, and the introduction of new equipment.
