Kuhn Intends to Acquire Artec
Kuhn Group has agreed to purchase all outstanding shares of Artec Pulverisation.
Kuhn Group manufactures equipment for hay and forage harvesting, livestock feeding and bedding, planting, seeding, crop protection and landscape maintenance. Artec manufactures self-propelled agricultural sprayers, particularly for large farms.
Kuhn Group has been a minority shareholder of Artec since 2008 and intends to become the sole shareholder by the end of 2018. Artec products will continue to be distributed under the Artec brand.
Kuhn Group is headquartered in Saverne, France, and operates 10 manufacturing sites in France, the Netherlands, Brazil, and the U.S. The American plants are in Brodhead, Wis., and Hutchinson, Kan.
