Manufacturer Seeks Mechanic

An Association member company is searching for a maintenance mechanic to perform all aspects of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and preventive maintenance on equipment used to manufacture farm tillage implements. The candidate must have at least three years mechanical/electrical/hydraulic experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintain plant production and quality by performing preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment, ensuring their operation
• Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems
• Preventive and emergency repair of equipment, including LOTO
• Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques
• Capable of reading wiring diagrams and performing basic wiring up to 480 volts
• Maintenance and repair of facilities and vehicles (forklifts, motorized carts)
