Meet the Speakers

The speaker lineup continues to take shape for the 2019 Supply Summit, but it’s off to a fantastic start with experts on the economy, trade and tariffs, implementing lean principles, and cybersecurity.

Ann Duignan is a managing director at JP Morgan Securities LLC. She covers the U.S. machinery sector. Members who have heard her speak elsewhere recommended her for this year’s Summit.

Duignan will offer her insights into what’s next for farm equipment sales during a noon session Thursday.

R. Kevin Williams is a customs attorney with life-long ties to farming. He is a member in Clark Hill’s customs and international trade law practice group, and he will talk to members about steel tariffs and trade in the session immediately preceding Duignan’s.

Jamie Flinchbaugh is an author, speaker and consultant on lean principles. He is best known for helping to change how manufacturers think about lean from a tools-centric model to one based on behaviors.

During his Thursday morning session, he will talk to attendees about where to focus efforts when beginning with lean and how to implement and sustain the principles without a dedicated professional.

Violet Sullivan, Esq., is cyber practice manager for ePlace Solutions, a risk management consulting firm focused on preventing data breaches. She’s also a cybersecurity law professor.

Sullivan will offer tips Thursday morning on training employees on how to spot a potential attack and how to respond. Every cybersecurity platform ultimately depends upon employees’ understanding of the risk and vigilance in guarding against it, and she will focus on that human element.

Stay tuned for details on a panel of shortline veterans who will share their wisdom on a handful of industry issues.

Registration is now open with as much as $200 discounts currently being offered.
