Melnyk Succeeds Flora on WEDA Board

The Western Equipment Dealers Association (WEDA) has named Darwin Melnyk to its board of directors.

The announcement from WEDA describes Melnyk as a thought-leader on the development of information, systems and decision support tools that address the unique challenges of managing complex agriculture supply chains. Since 2006, Melnyk has led the development of Iron Solutions from trade association publisher into provider of integrated market intelligence and enterprise software services for agricultural retailers. He recently completed the equity sale of Iron Solutions Inc. to Trimble Navigation Ltd. and continues to serve as Iron’s CEO/GM.

Melnyk will serve as an at-large director. His term begins July 1. He succeeds Jeff Flora.
