Member Services On FarmEquip.org

Over the last few months, several pages on the Association website have been updated and enhanced in an effort to bring additional value for our members. In the next few issues of this newsletter, we will be drawing attention to the services these pages provide.

Our Supplier Associate Section and its members are an important part of our Association and we would like to make it easier for our Regular Members to access the products and services they offer through a special page.

Request for Quote/Bid – Where Manufacturers find Suppliers

This webpage is in our “members only” section to insure our suppliers that when they receive a request, it is not an auto filled spam message but it’s actually one of our Regular Members looking for a product or service. If you have forgotten your user name or password, please give us a call or email info@farmequip.org.

The first step is to select the product or service, either from the menu or use the search box to make your selection. A full list of Supplier members matching your search will be displayed. The information will include their location and how long they have been an Association member.

You will be able to select as many or as few as you like by simply clicking the box next to the supplier’s name.

You can then enter or cut and paste your specs, quantities, date needed information only once. The message will be delivered to each of the Supplier Members you have selected along with your contact information.

Our hope is this will make sourcing supplies easier for our Regular Members and provide a valuable opportunity for our Supplier Members.

Member Company News Releases

While we use the pages of this newsletter on a regular basis to share news releases from member companies, our space is very limited and we are only able to publish a few of the releases we receive, and those are in an edited format.

This webpage provides space where we are able to post all news releases from our members in their full, unedited format along with images and links we are provided. The page has a very clean layout with the headline of each release along with the release date. Clicking on any of the headlines opens the full release, which can contain text, images and links.

We have placed this page on the public side of our website and encourage media outlets in our industry to visit the page when looking for stories.

Each release we receive is also posted on our Twitter page, (Twitter.com/Shortliner) with a link back to the full release.

The service is easy to use and there are no fees involved. Just email your release to PR@FarmEquip.org.
