Plant Tours – Robotics or Combine Assembly

Take a peek inside someone else’s plant during the Supply Summit. Both tours begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday. Participants need to register in advance.

CLAAS Plant Tour – Tour the plant where the LEXION combine is assembled, and see how, as the machine has gotten bigger, the tools used to build it have, too.

Acieta Plant Tour – Robotic automation is changing manufacturing, and Acieta is part of the transformation. The company has installed more than 4,000 robots in North America in plants with fewer than 10 employees and more than 1,000. Participants will travel to Acieta after a Summit session at which a company spokesman describes how automation is changing manufacturing.
