Reception Sponsorships Available for Spring Conference

Anyone who has attended the Association’s Spring Conference in recent years likely noticed that Opening Reception, sponsored by Supplier Members, has become one of the most popular elements of the conference. After this year’s Spring Conference in San Antonio, respondents to the follow-up survey ranked the Opening Reception as their the second-favorite aspect of the event, surpassed only by the selection of San Antonio as the site.

The Welcome Reception is now a complete evening event, at which manufacturers and suppliers can enjoy food, refreshments, and entertainment for the evening without having to make separate dinner plans. As a result, we have seen higher attendance and more members staying for the entire evening, giving us all more time to “mix and mingle.”

For future meetings, the section’s Board of Governors will offer “Key Sponsorships” to supplier companies. A Key Supplier will pay $1,000 to have its company name featured at serving stations and on printed conference materials. The event will still be listed as the Supplier Section welcome party but will offer increased visibility for the sponsor company.
