Rominger to Lead EDA

The Equipment Dealers Association (EDA) Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Kim Rominger as EDA’s new President/CEO.  He will assume responsibilities July 5.

Rominger replaces Rick Lawhun, who decided to pursue his lifelong goal to retire on his 60th birthday.

Rominger has 34 years of experience in equipment dealer association management, with the past 17 years serving in the capacity of CEO of regional equipment dealer associations. He has extensive experience with dealer-manufacturer relations, having served on the EDA Industry Relations Task Force since 2012.

He currently serves as the executive vice president/CEO of the United Equipment Dealers Association (UEDA), a position he will continue to hold.

Rominger currently resides in Avon, Ind., with wife Monica.

Vernon Schmidt, executive vice president of Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association, describes Rominger as an outstanding colleague in the industry.
