Sentry Invites Members to Safety Training
Association partner Sentry Insurance invites members to a safety training opportunity at its headquarters in Wisconsin.
Principles of Safety Management is Tuesday to Thursday, Oct. 23 to 25, at the company’s home office in Stevens Point, Wis. Register online by Oct. 12 at FarmEquip.org/SentryClass.
This three-day seminar will provide a framework for capitalizing on principles of safety management that are compatible with your objectives for quality, productivity, and competitiveness. Participants will develop action plans for these safety management principles and topics:
- Regulatory compliance (without regulatory compliance driving the system);
- Leadership and management commitment for developing successful operational safety and health programs;
- Hazard recognition, anticipation, evaluation, and control;
- Workplace ergonomics, design, and engineering;
- Workplace violence—active shooter; and
- Employee orientation and training, including: involvement, behaviors, attitudes, and motivation.
