Star Buys Assets from Beall

Star Manufacturing Company and Beall Manufacturing announced in October that Star would acquire certain assets of Beall.

The purchase, which was final Oct. 31, will expand Star’s business in the agricultural industry as a supplier of heat-treated spring steel parts. Most products will transfer from Beall’s location in East Alton, Ill., to Star’s facility in Freeport, Ill.

Beall’s wholly owned subsidiary Cutting Specialists Inc., located in McKenzie, Tenn., is not affected by this transaction and will continue under current ownership and management.
