State’s Right-to-Repair Bill Dies
A bill in Oklahoma that would have forced manufacturers to provide diagnostic equipment, specialty tools, service manuals, and firmware updates to anyone who requested them has been killed. Dealer groups opposed the legislation. They were joined by at least a handful of manufacturers.
