Supplier Members Elect New Leadership

Jamie Silver, operations director for Muir Graphics in Peoria, Ill., will lead the Association’s Supplier Associate Section until April 2018.

The Supplier Board of Governors elected Silver to the role during the 2017 Supply Summit in Little Rock.

Among objectives during his leadership term is to reinforce with suppliers the importance of attending Association meetings.

“I believe there is no other group that makes it this easy to connect with (prospective customers),” he said, “but we need to be consistent in our attendance.”

Silver speaks from experience. He did not know anyone in the Association when Muir Graphics joined in 2009 but got involved through volunteer efforts and being active at meetings.

“Success is built on continuous relationships,” he said.

Serving as officers with Silver are Jon Sherrod (Bondioli & Pavesi) as vice chair, Joe Sampson (Osmundson Mfg. Co.) as secretary, and Scott Moss (Comer Industries) as treasurer.

The Supplier Associate Section also elected two new members to the Board of Governors at the meeting. John Brown (Myers Spring) and Mark Czopek (Sharon Tube) joined Marc Adams (GBGI) and Steve Nichol (Technical Publication Associates) to complete the board.

Silver succeeds Steve Kertesz (Ingersoll Tillage Group) as chairman.
