Supplier Members: Get Involved and Get the Most Out of Spring Conference

Happy New Year! The Association’s Supplier Section Board of Governors met last week at National Tube Supply in Chicago. Executive Vice President Vernon Schmidt joined us and kindly offered us this space in the Shortliner to address you, the Supplier Section, about the coming year and opportunities to serve.

I’m happy to report that Supplier Section membership remains strong, and that we have an outstanding venue and networking activities planned for the Spring Conference & Supplier Showcase, where the Supplier Section (companies who supply raw materials, component parts and services to the wholegoods manufacturers) will gather with the rest of the Association to conduct “business on the beach” in Clearwater, Fla., in April.

Like most things we do, Supplier Associate members of the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association find that helping the Association helps manufacturing members enhance their market knowledge and grow their professional network. One of the best ways to get to know your fellow Supplier Associate members and Regular members is to volunteer on committee assignments that engage you in the Association’s two big events: Spring Conference & Supplier Showcase and Fall Marketing & Distribution Convention.

Our Supplier Associate Board, listed in the box to the right, is always seeking active members who share our “Association first” mindset and want to volunteer and actively contribute to the Supplier Section in support of the goals of the Association as a whole.
