Top Challenges Facing Workers Comp

Executive leaders in the work comp industry say that chief among challenges for 2019 is adapting to the changing workforce and workplace.

Leaders surveyed expressed concern over risks associated with an aging workforce, unskilled workers, independent contractors, and new technology. They also worry about how to assess these risks.

Among strategies to respond: underwriting and analytics, new products, changes in pricing and underwriting, and employer education programs.
