Unverferth Exec Named Marketer of the Year

The National Agri-Marketing Association has named Dan Fanger from Unverferth Manufacturing Co. its 2016 Marketer of the Year—the association’s most prestigious honor to an active member.

Fanger joined Unverferth in 1965 as its first full-time sales person. The announcement about his award said that Fanger succeeded by “listening not only to what customers say, but digging deeper to determine what they really mean.” The knowledge he gained “sparked the innovation of new products and initiated product enhancements that made them more valuable to farmers.”

The company named Fanger vice president of sales and marketing in 1991. In that role, he’s continued to develop new products and focused on strengthening Unverferth’s sales force.
