Wanted: Lead Engineer

A specialty tillage implement manufacturer seeks a highly motivated person to manage its engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to develop systems, fix problems or create solutions.
• Create buildable materials and spec sheets for finished products.
• Create and demonstrate new systems and innovative simulations, and find new ways to work more efficiently.
• Demonstrate working models to groups using PowerPoint presentations.
• Design and troubleshoot using complex mathematical analysis.
• Manage time, resources, personnel and funds for various projects.
• Provide cost analysis for projects and new equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing Practices; ability to program Sigma Nest and Plasma Tables.
• Working knowledge of laser cutting machines and robotic welders, and experience with Composer are a plus.
• Communicate plans, thoughts, and rationale in your job to teammates, co-workers and management.
• Design and troubleshoot using complex mathematical analysis.
• Bi-lingual with an agriculture background preferred.
