Dealer Relations Meeting to Include Legislation Updates

During the Dealer Relations Committee Meeting at our Spring Conference, Vince Tomlonovic, Committee Chair, and Association Exec. Vice President Vernon Schmidt will discuss legislation effecting contractual relationships between shortline manufacturers and their dealers.

Dealer contract bills are pending in Idaho, Pennsylvania, Vermont and South Carolina.

The meeting also will include updates on our work in Wisconsin with the Midwest Equipment Dealers Association and other groups to address concerns regarding pending Implement of Husbandry legislation, and dealer-supported legislation in Kansas on use of public roads for delivering equipment.

The meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8. All attendees are welcome to attend, as space permit.
