ASABE Reviews Guidance Systems

The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers has begun a project to adopt a standard for testing positioning and guidance systems in agriculture and satellite-based auto-guidance systems during straight, level travel.

The standard, ISO 12188-2:2012, will further harmonize national and international standardization, a goal that facilitates manufacturing, safety advancements and product marketing worldwide.

Conformance to ASABE standards is voluntary, except where required by state, provincial, or other governmental requirements.
