Elmers Recovers from Paint Shop Fire
Elmer’s Welding & Manufacturing Ltd. rolled its first 2019 Haulmaster off its line about two weeks after a fire stalled operations.
The Altona, Manitoba, plant sustained damage early March 12 when a fire that started in the paint shop crept up the walls and into the ceiling. A spokesperson for the local fire department said the fire stayed away from the ground, which minimized its impact on the contents of the building.
The first 2019 Haulmaster was released March 28.
