Utah Changes To Four-Day Workweek
Starting next month, Utah state employees will be trying out a Monday to Thursday workweek, MSNBC reports. In a year long experiment aimed at reducing the state’s energy costs and commuters’ gasoline expenses, Utah is about to become the first state to fully switch to a four-day workweek for thousands of government workers.
Employees will put in 10-hour days, Monday to Thursday, and have Fridays off. They will get paid the same as before.
