AGCO’s Q3 Shows Biggest Gains in South America

AGCO recently reported its results for the quarter ended September 30.
Net sales for the third quarter increased by 9.1 percent compared to the third quarter of 2020. Net sales for the first nine months of 2021 increased by about 24.1 percent.

The company said tractor sales in North America were “up significantly across all horsepower categories in the first nine months of 2021.”

Broken down by region, AGCO reported a 36.6 percent increase in sales in South America and an 8.5 percent increase in North America for the quarter. Sales increases in Europe/Middle East and Asia/Pacific/Africa were 3.1 and 2.1 percent, respectively.

The company also saw significant increases in precision planting products and replacement parts in North America.
