Attend the Sentry® Learning from Loss and Risk Management Sessions
Insurance is about more than protection against losses. It’s also about the guidance, experience, and support a business can count on when challenges arise.
At FEMA’s Marketing & Distribution Convention in New Orleans, Sentry will host two conversations focused on illustrating that broader value on Thursday, October 29, at the Joint Industry Showcase, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Learning from Loss
Bryant Hintz, Sentry Senior Safety Consultant for farm equipment manufacturers, will discuss what businesses can learn when a loss reveals safety gaps and how insurance can help support them following a covered loss. The session is designed to help business owners think through the connection between safety practices, risk management, and insurance response.
Risk Management
Following that discussion, Sentry Territory Underwriters Matt Beigel and Trent Waltenberg will lead a risk management breakout session focused on what business owners value most—above and beyond price—when choosing an insurance carrier. Topics will include responsiveness, industry experience, familiarity with the field, strong relationships, and support during difficult situations.
The goal of this discussion is to help business owners think about the role insurance plays beyond the bottom-line premium. While price is an important consideration, a positive carrier relationship can also provide practical guidance, timely communication, and perspective when business challenges become more complex.
