ESP Acquires Swan Engineering

Engineered Seal Products (ESP) has acquired Swan Engineering and Supply Co., Inc.

Swan Engineering is a full-stocking seal distributor. It began in the aerospace and railroad industries in 1954 and later expanded into construction, mining, plant maintenance, fleet services, and military markets.

“This acquisition is another step that accelerates ESP’s expansion into new markets and regions,” said Jeff Hamilton, CEO of Engineered Seal Products. “We’re acquiring a very talented team of technical experts. We plan to invest in the Swan Engineering brand, serve and grow their customer base, and extend ESP’s capabilities.”

ESP is a 100 percent employee-owned company based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It has served the industrial OEM markets for more than 50 years.

ESP has branches in Davenport, Iowa, Arlington, Texas, Shenzhen, China, and Chennai, India.
