Friday Tours Offer Behind-the-Scenes Look at Manufacturing

Attendees of the Supply Summit & Showcase will have the opportunity to extend their experience on Friday, March 27, with one of two optional behind-the-scenes manufacturing tours in the San Antonio area.

These tours offer a firsthand look at large-scale manufacturing operations and are a great way to see best practices, processes, and facilities up close.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas (TMMTX) in San Antonio, TX, is a world-class facility where full-size pickup trucks are assembled. Attendees who choose this tour will get an inside look at advanced manufacturing systems, workforce integration, and large-scale production in action.

The Alamo Group Inc. Tour will take attendees to Seguin, TX, to see the manufacturing operations behind one of the leading designers and manufacturers of agricultural and infrastructure maintenance equipment. This tour provides insight into production processes specific to the equipment manufacturing industry.

Both tours will take place Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. and are offered at an additional cost for registered Supply Summit & Showcase attendees. Participation is optional. Space is limited.
