The Room Block Deadline Is October 5: Make Sure You’re in the Room

The clock is ticking. FEMA’s reserved block of rooms at the Hilton New Orleans Marriott will be released on Monday, October 5, and nearly 90 percent of the room block is already filled.

With registrations continuing to climb, members who plan to attend FEMA’s 2026 Marketing & Distribution Convention should reserve their hotel room before the October 5 cutoff to secure a room within FEMA’s reserved block.

“The value of this convention comes down to one thing: relationships,” said FEMA Executive Vice President Joe Sampson. “It’s an opportunity to get in the room, have the conversations that matter, find new opportunities and build relationships that can move your business forward.”

For members who have not yet registered, there is also still time to reserve a booth in the Joint Industry Showcase. On Thursday, October 29, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., exhibitors will have the opportunity to showcase their products and innovations, connect directly with industry attendees and build relationships that extend beyond the booth.

Historically, the convention has been an event where problems are solved and opportunities are uncovered through conversations at the welcome reception, between educational sessions and during networking events.

If you’re planning to attend, don’t wait until October 5. Reserve your hotel room now.
