AETC: January 10-13

The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) announced the dates of the 2010 Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference (AETC). The meeting will take place January 10-13, 2010, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, immediately preceding Ag Connect Expo 2010, at the same venue.

With the theme Expanding Horizons: Exploring Emerging Needs and Creating New Connections in the Agricultural Equipment World, AETC’s 2010 program emphasizes issues affecting a range of agricultural settings, from developing economies to extended space missions.

AETC provides a forum for pragmatic and open discussion of the state of the art for designers, managers, and others involved in the research and manufacture of agricultural equipment of all kinds. The 2010 program includes sessions on culturally acceptable and market-sustainable equipment designs for developing countries; design implications for equipment sharing public roadways, and environmental considerations for agricultural operations on extended space missions.
