AG CONNECT: Where Agriculture Meets Innovation

AG CONNECT Expo is the gathering place where agriculture comes together to learn about innovative technology, do business and to advocate for agriculture. Young people entering the marketplace need to understand the rapidly changing landscape of agriculture and its tremendous advancements. They need to be made aware of the cutting edge, intricate technology required, and see it for the progressive global industry that it is.

These are some of the drivers behind the Ag trade show, AG CONNECT Expo. The concept of the show is to provide an event that recognizes and appreciates modern agriculture while respecting time-honored traditions surrounding agriculture. AG CONNECT Expo offers dynamic, professional business opportunities in the global environment that agriculture is today.

One step at a time, our industry needs to begin painting an accurate picture of what we in agriculture are really all about, and AG CONNECT Expo is part of that effort.  Anyone who has worked in agriculture knows that Ag is full of the hard-working, salt-of-the-earth people. While traditions should be celebrated and appreciated, unfortunately, the romantic vision of agriculture too often masks the sophistication of the industry. It is certainly too often hidden from current generations, now two, three, or four times removed from the family farm.

AG CONNECT Expo 2010 is an opportunity to educate each other and the upcoming generation. Join us January 13-15, 2010 (Preview Day Jan. 12 by special admission) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, to celebrate and advocate for agriculture.
