Ag Sales Improve for CNH

CNH Industrial has announced that its consolidated revenues for the quarter ended March 31 rose by 17.1 percent to $6.8 billion. Adjusted net income was $204 million for the first quarter of 2018 compared to $55 million for the same period of 2017.

Net sales for agriculture equipment increased 15 percent in the first quarter vs. the first quarter of 2017, or 11 percent on a constant currency basis. The increase was the result of higher sales volumes and positive net price realization. Overall industry demand was flat with strong industry volume in Asia-Pacific and lower demand in Latin America.
