Another Dealer Bows to Volume Goals

According to the Delta County Independent, after 63-years in business, Colorado’s Delta Implement has been sold. Owner, Ralph Mangum told the local paper that continued efforts to expand to meet Deere’s corporate goals fell short. Any new acquisition would likely have been hundreds of miles from Delta and at the age of 66, Mangum said he was tired of trying to make a deal come together.

The business was sold to U.S. Tractor & Harvest, which operates Deere dealerships in Alamosa and Monte Vista, CO. ◆
