Antonio Carraro Rejects Rumors

Italian tractor manufacturer Antonio Carraro issued a statement last week to put an end to speculation of a potential deal with AGCO.

"We categorically insist that no such deal is in progress," the statement said. "Furthermore, there has never been any meeting with any representative from AGCO."

The company’s only interest, the statement said, is collaboration that would result in global sales growth, preferably with a commercial or industrial company.

The company reported an "excellent 2015," with sales up by 10% over 2014.  S
